TERMS & CONDITIONS OF MEMBERSHIP

MEMBERSHIP & PARTICIPATION:

Membership is open to individuals aged 18+ who wish to participate in weekly choir rehearsals and performances. Harmoni Choirs strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for the community. Respectful and cooperative behaviour is required at all times.

VOCAL REQUIREMENT:

All Harmoni Choirs apart from the Chamber Choir are non-auditioned - the only requirement is that members have the ability to pitch-match and sing in tune.

FEES:

The membership fee is $210 per term ($250 for the Chamber Choir). Terms typically run to the NSW Public School Calendar. Fees cover rehearsal sessions, access to digital sheet music and rehearsal tracks, venue hire, administration, and conductor fees.

Payment must be made in full prior to the commencement of each term, unless an alternative arrangement has been agreed upon.

Fees are non-refundable once the term has commenced. We do not offer discounted rates for partial attendance, except in exceptional circumstances. We understand that members may occasionally miss rehearsals due to work, travel, or illness, and this is expected over the course of a term.

WITHDRAWL AND CANCELLAION:

If you decide to withdraw before the term begins, a full refund will be provided, less a $10 administration fee. No refunds will be issued for withdrawals after the start of the term, except in exceptional circumstances.

MUSIC READING:

You don’t need to read music to join the choir - everyone is welcome. However, we encourage all members to build their musical confidence over time. To support your learning, we provide downloadable rehearsal tracks and printable sheet music to help you learn your part. Please note that all performances are sung from memory.

PRIVACY & MEDIA:

By joining, you consent to the use of photographs and video recordings taken during rehearsals and performances for promotional purposes, unless you notify the choir in writing.

Your personal information will be stored securely and will not be shared with third parties without your consent, in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act.

CHANGES TO TERMS:

Harmoni Choirs reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated in writing prior to taking effect.
